Thursday evening chez Fawcetts

Wednesday evening I asked Stuart if he could cook dinner the following night. No problem!
Thursday afternoon arrives, Edwin is going sleighing with his "girlfriend" and Stuart arrives home from work. Holding Leila he asks; what was I going to cook tonight?
Å- No idea, you are in charge.
S- Ok, take her.
Å- No, I need to do some work. You have to handle her AND cook dinner. It is what I do every night, you even have a bonus with Edwin not being here.
S- But I have to plan what I am cooking.
Å- And I don't?
S- But you have all day to plan.......

A little bit sweet a little bit sour!

These days are trying on the old patience. Edwin is in his independent stage and oh my! some days I want to take the emergency exit.
But then other days he is the most wonderful 17,5 kg person walking this earth.
Let me give you some examples:

We are currently teaching Leila to fall asleep on her own with the famous 5-minute method so she screams for a little bit and then she falls asleep. The other day she was showing her stamina and screamed for quite a while. After a few minutes I hear Edwin walking upstairs and then standing by Leilas bed and singing to make her sleep :-)

We have started to apply a cream to Leilas head to get rid of the dry skin up there and it gives her a slick hairstyle and we started this during the xmas break while Edwin was with babysitters. When he came back he walked up to Leila and said: "Lilla gumman (our nickname for her) I am home, your hair looks nice"
