Present!

After having been 2 days in Oslo this week, I yesterday afternoon arrived home and spent some time with Edwin.
He told me that pappa had bought a present for me.
Oh, they have bought a mothers-day-present I thought, and could not help asking Edwin what it was. It is those green things he said.
??????
We go down to the basement and there is a case of beer one of Stuarts collagues have bought for him. Apparently they are for me. Atleast if you ask Edwin!
I wish!

Is Edwin really my son??

We had a hectic day today, started with me and Edwin going swimming. Stuart was busy finishing of the lists in the basement.
This evening we went to a fotball game, Häcken - HIF.
Last year when they were showing ads for the European Cup, they had a movie clip of Henke (one of the players) scoring. And everytime I told Edwin to have a look at Henke. And now he thinks all fotball players are called "Henke".
So at the game today Edwin firstly kept asking where are the "Henkes"? Then one of the players had a facemask due to some facial injury and we told Edwin he had a sore nose. So the whole first half he asked, where is the Henke with the sore nose?
When Häcken scored and everybody cheered Edwin started crying.
For a while I was doubting that Edwin was my son, but there is hope for him. We had a hot dog in the break and then second half went a lot better, two more goals and no tears. But still questions about the sore nose.........

Not always as planned.....

but with the help of a loving husband it can be turned right again :-)

Had to get up early this morning (05:00) for a 6:45 flight to Brussels. As when I was expecting Edwin, I am having trouble sleeping so I had been awake since 2, so actually getting out of bed was not a problem. I was looking forward to the fact that I had a couple of hours to relax before the meeting starts this afternoon. Check in and go to the gate. Board the plane and the air stewardess asks me; do you have the medical certificate that allows you to fly?
- No, I thought I needed it later in the pregancy if I had planned to fly.
- We have to check with the pilot, it is his decision.

Pilot says no, so they ask if there is a doctor on board. No such luck, they find one in the terminal, but an ok over the communication system is not good enough. She would have to sign to say that I am ok to fligh, but realistically, how would she know without a proper examination?
So right then and there in front of a fully loaded plane, I get taken off the plane.
Of course I have a checked in bag they have to dig out, a bus has to come and pick me up from the tarmac. And since my bag has been checked in, they have a long discussion about that I actually would have get it checked out. Oh my god what a mess.
I was so embarrassed. But the girls helping me also took the blame, they should have check this when I checked in so they took their part of the responsibility.
Anyway, after getting booked on the nest flight, I had to ring Stuart who had to go to see my midwife and arrange the medical certificate which they faxed to the airport.
And voila! Now I am set to go.
As compensation from the airport, I got access to business lounge, so now I am hanging out, not feeling to bad, drinking tea and having breakfast.

And yes, I have learnt my lesson :-)
