Some more pictures from our picnic yesterday. We went swimming today and on the way there we saw 4 deer on the fotball field not far from out house. Pretty cool though Edwin!

Winter picnic

Beautiful winter weather today, about -3 and sunshine so we packed a picnic and went to the beach.

Christmas tree

I am soo ready for a break from work. 2 more days.....

And Edwin is ready for Santa to bring him a motorcycle.....just 7 more days of nagging ;-)

Liseberg mm

Last Sunday we went to the amusementpark Liseberg. Lots of people wanted to enjoy all the christmas lights.

On Monday Stuart received the good news that he gets to stay at Volvo.

On Wednesday both Stuart and Edwin was sick with the flue. Today Thursday and Stuart is a little bit better, hopefully I can go to work tomorrow.

Christmas buffé

Yesterday we went to a Christmas buffé with some friends. As always we ate too much and had to go straight to bed when we got home. Hate when that happens on a child-free evening!!

Wedding

Yesterday my sister Sofie got married to her Johan.

The ceremony was held in the city council where we got married.

Sick and snow

Had a fun sunday with Little man throwing up all day. He is much better today, but still tired after yesterday. We took a walk in the snow this morning.

Sick

Here we go again.... Edwin sick with a fever, I am feeling "iffy"(sore throat and aching body) and Stu has an upset tummy.....

Passed out!

The little man and I went to "gympa" today. Edwin loves it, and the look on his face when we enter the big room is priceless. He starts running around before it even starts.

All this activity takes it tolls, he is now passed out and will most likely sleep for at least 2 hours.

Party time!

Went to a party on Saturday. What a fun evening we had with our friends, trying to sing and play guitar with Playstation.

Edwin dressed up for the occassion in black tight pants and the beggers hat to top of the outfit.

Daylight saving on/off?

The little man has not adjusted to the "new" time. He keeps waking up 5:30.
It is pitch black at that time, he says himself that it is night, but going back to sleep....oh no!

The flowers....

Here comes the story as to why I was given flowers one day from Stuart....

Edwin had a dental appointment and we had decided that I would take him. Stuart per usual got up early and left for work. When I get up I see that the car is gone.
Luckily I had the company car at home as I had been in Halmstad the day before, but of course no car seat. So to Edwins delight he got to ride in the front seat of the car.
When I got to work I emailed Stuart and asked him if he "tänker med röven" (thinks with his ass) since he took the car.
That is why I got flowers from Röven (the ass).

Impetigo, ear infection all in one week

Fun and games in the Fawcett household with a whole week with sick child, started of with upset stomach, on to ear infection and finally impetigo.
The red sore around his mouth is impetigo, luckily looks worse than it feels as he is not complaining too much about it.

Farfar visited!

Last weekend we had Tim and Caroline for a visit.

We spent saturday morning at museum of natural history.

Liseberg

Saturday was spent at the amusementpark in Gothenburg, Liseberg, with our friends. Nice autumn weather.

Mushrooms and slippers

The temperature has dropped the last week and today we had to subcome and turn the heating on......

How will I survive winter????

This is currently Edwin's repetoir which we hear many times a day "jag e stor kille, mamma e tjej och pappa e lång" and in English..."i am a big boy, mamma is girl and pappa is tall".

No logic between these two pieces of information, my brain is frozen I think.

Back from vacation!

Exhausted, just having arrived home. Some pictures for now and will try and add more later....

Airplanes and a cold.

Well, the timing could be better, Edwin has a blocked nose and is a bit under the weather...how typical, just a few days before we are going on vacation!

He still managed to go look at the planes which are here for the aero-show.

Zhilla och Totte!

Tuesday night and final night of "Familyday at Flunsåsparken". It is an outdoor event, where they invite celebrities and they perform. This week it was the final show and among other there was Zhilla and Totte, a young girl ventralaquist (spelling?) with her monkey - Totte.

Edwin couldn't believe it when Totte started to sing his favorit song "lilla snigel" (little snail).

3 more days of work then we are of to Croatia :-))

Getting ready for a week in the sun

In just over a weeks time we fly to Croatia. Here is Edwin trying on a "robe" which we bought this summer. The picture is from July, that is why his hair is so long.

Beautiful blue sky today, we took a long walk this morning and now getting ready to have lunch.

Love is in the air....

Was at our friends wedding yesterday. It was a beautiful day with a lovely ceremony in a small church. The food was excellent....again, same mistake as friday evening - we ate too much!

Falling asleep....

The little man is not so interested in sleeping. When he knows it is time for a nap or bedtime he declares "not sleeping". Yesterday he fell asleep before finishing his first book.

He is with his girls this weekend, what a luxury for us. Last night we went out for dinner at a nice Turkish restaurant where we ate too much. Then we went to the movies and saw "Mama Mia", what a cute movie. We walked out smiling and happy.
Now we are off to a wedding.

Rain and Olympics

It has been raining for a few days straight now, but somehow it doesn't matter. It is justified to sit inside and watch the Olympics.....

Pilled on our wet weather gear today and went outside to jump in all the puddels :-)

Älvsborgs fästning

Took a daytrip to a fort in the Gothenburg inlet today.

Härön

The nice weather continues and we went up the coast to an island called Härön. Here we meet up with some friends and had a nice lunch at Magasinet.

Child free for one day

We had one day to ourselves and went canoe paddling for the day (sorry no pictures of this event) and in the evening we went into town for a nice meal. We finished the evening on the deck with a bottle of wine.

Edwin and the crab

Finally we got some sunshine and have spent the last 2 days at the beach. Today Edwin made a little friend who had caught lots of crabs and Edwin got to hold one of them, see photo. More sunshine expected the next few days so no other plans but to soak it up and cool of in the ocean.

Chicken pox!!!

The little man has chicken pox, or atleast the doctor seems to think so, we have another appointment tomorrow to see what stage the spots are in.

He is really suffering from the itch, they are all over his groin and willie, poor little fella.

Potty success!!

Finally, some potty success! Fingers crossed it was not a once off experience.

Promised pictures on house

Here are the pictures of the house, on the bedroom windows we have put awnings. What a difference it does to the inside temperature!!!

On the front, we have had the bit of grass paved and Stu has put up a fence. Now we just have to plant some climbing plants that will spread out over the wire.

Rainbow and no longer blonde

Had a beautiful rainbow over our house the other day (not as common over here as in in NZ, thus the picture qualifies for the blogg :-)

Also my blond days are over for now.
